Niagara County, NYSchulze Vineyards and Winery along with Arrowhead Spring Vineyards and The Winery at Marjim Manor of the Niagara Wine Trail have been awarded at the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition, the 33rd Riverside International Wine Competition, and the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition. The prestigious awards are a testament to the growing acclaim for wines produced on the American side of the Niagara region.

Approximately 2,000 wines are annually entered in the Tasters Guild Competition from over 15 countries and 30 states/provinces in the professionally conducted wine judging competition. At the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition, Schulze Vineyards and Winery brought home the prestigious Double Gold award for their 2012 Block Three Ice Wine, along with Silver awards for their 2012 Vidal Blanc Ice wine, 2012 Siegfried, Thirty Mile Point, 2012 Vidal Blanc and Ruby offerings.

The 33rd Annual Riverside International Wine Competition provides consumers and the wine industry with carefully considered results of a blind tasting by professional wine evaluators. Arrowhead Spring Vineyards was honored with a Gold for their 2011 Syrah, Silver Award for their 2010 Meritage and Bronze Award for their 2012 Pinot Noir. Schulze Vineyards and Winery was also awarded Silver Awards for both their 2012 Block Three Ice Wine and 2012 Vidal Blanc Ice Wine.

The Pacific Rim Wine Competition has been setting standards for judging of fine wines since 1985. Over a two day period wine professional judges evaluated about two thousand wines. The Winery at Marjim Manor’s Fifty Windows wine, made with the native Niagara grape, was awarded a Best of Class and Gold medal at the competition.
