Niagara County, NY –The wineries of the Niagara Wine Trail are ringing in the holiday season with their annual Holiday Happening event. The 2014 Holiday Happening will take place over two weekends, December 5th-7th and December 12th-14th. Event tickets are limited and include 3 tastes of wine at each of the participating wineries, a collectable wine glass and cork cage wreath gift from the starting location, and a different wine cork at each winery to fill the wreath (one wreath per couple). Hours both weekends are Friday Noon–5 PM, Saturday 10 AM–5 PM and Sunday Noon–5 PM.
Pre-sale event tickets are available for $40/Single and $70/couple until December 4th online. Advance purchase is strongly recommended, as tickets may not be available for purchase at the wineries. Tickets for this popular event are valid for both weekends, so attendees may have a chance to visit each winery, collect their corks and even fill stockings with local holiday shopping. As a reminder, sales tax and transportation are not included in the ticket cost.
