Niagara County, NY – The wineries of the Niagara Wine Trail are ringing in the holiday season with their annual Holiday Happening event. The 2015 Holiday Happening will take place over two weekends, December 4th-6th and December 11th-13th. Event tickets for this increasingly popular event are limited to a total of 750 participants.
Each ticket includes 3 tastes of wine and a cookie/dessert sample from each participating winery, a collectable wine glass and a holiday recipe book from your starting winery. Couples tickets include wine tasting and a wine glass for each person; only one recipe book per couple. Books available while supplies last. Hours both weekends are Friday Noon-5 PM, Saturday 10 AM-5 PM and Sunday Noon-5 PM.
Pre-sale event tickets are available for $32.40 single ticket or $59.40 couple ticket advance online, through Thursday, December 3rd (prices include NY State sales tax). Tickets are valid for both weekends and participants should retain their ticket and tasting glass if visiting on multiple days.
Advance purchase is strongly recommended as this event has sold out the past years. Tickets will only be sold at the door if the event does not sell out in advance at a limited number of wineries – at the door ticket sales is not guaranteed.
As a reminder, transportation is not included in the ticket cost and groups touring by bus or limo should contact the wineries in advance of their tour date to ensure they are aware of the group’s expected arrival times.
