Niagara County, NY– The Niagara Wine Trail will celebrate their 8th annual Niagara USA Wine Festival in Lewiston’s Academy Park Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st. The event will run from Noon to 7PM on Saturday and Noon until 6PM on Sunday.
As in years past, attendees purchasing tasting passes online before the festival will receive $5 worth of coupons with their tasting glass valid towards the purchase of wine at the festival. Advance passes are available until Friday, July 29th at 9 PM EST through the festival website (www.NiagaraUSAWineFestival.com) for $25 each. Tasting passes may be purchased each day of the festival for $30 each.
All tasting passes include a commemorative festival wine glass and booklet, which attendees will present to each of the 17 participating wineries to receive at least 3 tastes per wine, mead, or cider vendor. A total of 51 samples can be enjoyed throughout the two event days, but patrons are advised to retain their tasting glass if attending more than one day.
Wine pick-up service is available to customers so they may keep their hands free while enjoying the festival. Each customer who purchases 6 bottles of wine in one day will receive a reusable wine tote to carry their purchases home in (while supplies last). Local vendors will be on hand offering culinary delights and refreshments for festivalgoers to purchase; food items are not included in the festival ticket price.
Live music and wine education seminars are free and open to all festival attendees for both days. Designated drivers and festival participants under the age of 21 are admitted free of charge. Parking for the festival is free in the Village of Lewiston. Those tasting during the festival will be required to show a photo ID at the entrance to receive a wristband both days.
