2017 Schedule and Season Passbook

Niagara County, NY – The 2017 event schedule for the Niagara Wine Trail, USA is now posted on the trail’s website. Advance tickets for the February, April, and June 2017 events are currently on sale. The July Niagara USA Wine Festival and Fall/Winter events will go on sale in the coming months.

In 2017, the wine trail has kept all of the popular events on their schedule. In 2016 the trail added an extra week to the “Be Mine with Wine” chocolate and wine pairing event. The extra weekend was a perfect opportunity for couples and groups of friends to explore the wine trail at a leisurely pace. The two weekends allows for guests who may be traveling far to choose which of the four dates is best for them, given that weather can be inclement that time of the year. Be Mine with Wine runs February 11th-12th and 18th-19th, making it a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In addition to chocolate samples, this year some wineries will be offering chocolate-themed dessert samples with their wine tastings.

The very popular April “Taste of the Trail” wine and food pairing event is back again, with half of the wineries participating each of the two weekends in April, 22nd-23rd and 29th-30th. Attendees can purchase tickets for just one of the weekends for $25 in advance, or both weekends at a discounted rate of $40 in advance, plus tax.

For those seeking to visit multiple events in 2017, and save $70 or more, the wine trail has released an Event Season Passbook with vouchers for all 7 of their ticketed trail events. The vouchers are valid for one single ticket for each event, including both weekends of the Taste of the Trail event in April, and the Niagara USA Wine Festival in July. Other events included are Be Mine with Wine, Wine and Cheese, Harvest Festival, Hallowine, and Holiday Happening (which sold out in 2016). The Season Passbook is $150 plus shipping online, valued at over $220. Discounts are given for multiple qualities purchased. The trail encourages the sharing of the booklet amongst friends and family. Availability of the passbook is limited.

More information and the complete 2017 schedule may be found on the Niagara Wine Trail’s website: http://niagarawinetrail.org/category/events/. Season Passbooks and advance tickets may be purchased in the online store here: http://www.store.niagarawinetrail.org/
